Who are we?

Biopapro began with a deep and unsatiated urge to make a difference in the way we lead our lives. The brand revolves around the ethos that sustainability cannot be just another concept arising out of an obligation to adhere to corporate social responsibility norms. We at Biopapro regard sustainability as a way of growing in life by protecting what we take for granted so easily, Mother Earth. Our brand is a reflection of the eco-conscious new age customer who wants to give back to the society in whatever capacity they can. They understands the detrimental and far-reaching consequences of using plastic in daily life and thus, wants to leave this world in a livable state for generations to come by. Biopapro aims to be an impetus in creating this legacy.

We love how we can customise the paper straws we need to so many different designs and colours. And also so glad to use paper straws that are made in India.

What are Bagasse products?

Bagasse is the dry pulpy firbous residue that remains after sugarcane or sorghum stalks are crushed to extract their juice. Bagasse products are made solely of sugar cane fibre, which is a natural by-product of the sugar refining industry. Pulp is left after the juice has been extracted from the sugar cane stalk. Bagasse is made by pressing the pulp with intense pressure and high temperature to a mold form.Bagasse pulp requires minimal processing and elemental chlorine free (ECF) bleaching to turn it into a woven high-strength paper that is biodegradable and compostable.

What are Birchwood products?

Birch wood is a light wood with very fine grain. It is one of the least expensive woods in the market. Once it has been completely treated, it is extremely strong and durable. Birch wood is a very easy hardwood to stain and finish. It is completely organic and smooth. Each knife, spoon and fork feels as comfortable to use as any plastic cutlery, and as sturdy as metal utensils. With a flat, even surface, you'll never have to worry about splinters or breakage. These cutlery won't warp, disintegrate, or melt when used with piping hot dishes. Plus, they will never alter the taste of the dish, so you can use them while serving any type of food.
They are an environmentally-friendly alternative to plastic, and are compostable, which makes them a much better choice for consumers who care about sustainability.
